I got the season pass again i kind of regret it. The price keeps going up, but it feels like we’re getting less and less out of it. Every time we go, something is closed, or it’s just so packed that it’s not even that fun. I used to feel like the pass was a good deal, but now it really feels like you’re paying more for less every year.

I don’t want to sound too picky, because the mountain wasn’t terrible or anything, but the runs started to feel samey after a few laps. I kept trying different areas thinking maybe I just hadn’t found the better variety yet, but after a while it all kind of blended together. Maybe it’s better for people who like sticking to a similar style all day, but I got bored quicker than I expected...

I thought Big White was okay overall. The blue runs were fun and a decent length, though after a bit I felt like some of them started to blend together, maybe that’s just me. The lift lines were kind of frustrating on the weekend, and I wasn’t always totally sure where I was going because the signs could be clearer. Still, I had a decent day out there, even if it didn’t totally wow me...

I was expecting a fun tree skiing experience, but it was disappointing. The way it was presented made it sound a lot better than it actually was, and once I got out there the trees just felt terrible to ski through. It kind of had that bait and switch feeling, like I signed up for one thing and ended up with something totally different.

We stayed at Big White and the room was not clean when we arrived. There were crumbs on the floor, the bathroom didn’t feel properly cleaned, and there was dust around the beds. For the amount we paid, I expected a lot better. What made it more frustrating was that some of the terms seemed to change from what we originally understood, which just added to the feeling of being let down. It really put a damper on the whole stay

The staff were friendly, I’ll say that. Really nice with the kids. But the program itself just felt kind of all over the place. A lot of standing around, waiting for the next thing to happen. My kids were okay at first, then started getting bored. It wasn’t awful, just not very organized.

I was really hoping to enjoy the snowshoeing, but it ended up being a bit disappointing. The trails seemed confusing to follow, and the activities felt somewhat overpriced for what they were. The staff didn’t really seem to offer much help either, at least in my experience. Overall, I’m not sure it was worth it

I had a problem with my booking and reached out to customer service a few times, hoping someone would just take a minute to actually help. The first response took forever, and when it finally came, it felt like a generic copy-and-paste answer that didn’t really address what I asked.
I wasn’t asking for anything unreasonable, just basic answers and a little consideration. Instead, I kept getting passed around like nobody wanted to deal with it. It was frustrating, and I expected better than that.

We went up to Big White for a day trip and the parking situation was kinda brutal. Drove around way longer than we expected, the signs weren’t super clear, and even the staff seemed a bit unsure where everyone was supposed to go.
By the time we finally found a spot, it was far out and we were already frustrated. Not ideal at all when you’ve got ski gear and kids to haul around. Just started the day off on the wrong foot, which was a bummer.

Rented skis and boots from Big White on our trip. Staff were nice enough and pickup was quick, so tbh no real complaints there.

The gear itself was just kinda average. The skis had a decent amount of wear, and my boots felt beaten up. They worked fine, but weren’t exactly comfy lol.
For the price, I expected the condition to be a bit better. Not terrible or anything, just basic rental gear. I’d maybe use them again if it was the easiest option.

We booked a room right on the mountain thinking it would be super convenient and kind of special, but the place felt dated and it was noisy most of the night and it didn’t seem that clean either. We also had an issue with the heating and when we asked the staff about it they barely seemed interested in helping, so it just wasn’t the cozy mountain stay we were hoping for

The lift lines were just... brutal. I expected some waiting, sure, but this felt like way too much of the day was spent standing around instead of actually skiing...

I was disappointed with the snow on this trip. There were icy patches all over the place, and not just in a few random spots where you’d expect it, but enough that it really affected the whole experience. We made the drive hoping conditions would be decent, but once we got there it felt like we spent more time watching our footing and dealing with hard, slick areas than actually enjoying the snow. I know conditions can change and that’s not always anyone’s fault, but for the amount of time and effort it took to get there, it just didn’t feel worth it this time.

I booked a few days expecting at least some decent powder, but by the morning most of the runs were already packed down and icy. The snow report made it sound way better than what was actually there, which had me thinking, how is this okay for the price? Maybe I just caught it at a bad time, but I left disappointed and it really didn’t feel worth the trip.

I just wanted to get my booking done quickly, but the site kept glitching on me. It dragged the whole process out way longer than I had time or patience for, and it was frustrating.

I really wanted this to be a fun little win for our family, but it turned into one of those moments where everyone is looking around like, “Now what?” The kids lost interest fast, and we felt kind of lost trying to keep things moving. With small children, it just wasn’t as easy or enjoyable as we hoped

We were at Big White recently and overall had a really good time. The snow was solid, the runs were fun, and most of the staff we dealt with were friendly enough. That said, what I keep thinking about most after getting home is how quickly everything added up. Lift tickets, rentals, food… none of it felt cheap, and by the end of the trip it definitely felt less budget-friendly than I was hoping. I’d still say it was a nice place to visit, but it feels like you have to spend quite a bit to really get the full experience.

As someone who still very much thinks of myself as a beginner skier, Big White felt like a really good choice. The green runs were nice and wide, and I didn’t feel like I was constantly in the way or about to panic, which made a huge difference for my confidence.
The staff were friendly when we had basic questions, and most of the signs around the lifts were easy to follow. I also took a lesson, which was helpful, though it was a little busy at times.

I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because the first day was a bit confusing in a few areas while figuring out where to go. But overall, it felt really beginner-friendly, and I’d definitely go back
